What is the Degree Compendium?

The Degree Compendium is an online resource to query degrees conferred by the Bloomington campus of Indiana University.

The Degree Compendium is an online resource for researchers and the public to query the graduation records for Indiana University at Bloomington. When completed, it will cover the period from the year of the first graduating class in 1830 to near present day.

The Degree Compendium is searchable by degrees conferred from 1830 to 1965 and those conferred from 1966 to near present day. The public search is available to anyone with internet access and returns data elements considered public including student name, graduation year, degree type, degree school, and major. If the student is one of the first 200 graduates of Indiana University, there is also a link to an online biography. An authorized user search, for which permission must be granted, includes additional information classified as University Internal and is intended for official university business. IU faculty and staff who can demonstrate a legitimate need can request access to this search option by sending an email to allgrads@indiana.edu.
